I just returned from San Francisco and boy did I have an incredible time! Visiting Valencia street in the Mission was one of my favorite things ever because of all the vintage shops and flea markets. When I saw this book from Anthropologie, it instantly took me back there and is on my growing list of must reads.

I was roaming around on The Knot today and found this incredible wedding invitation. The couple even had these printed at Hatch Show Print in Nashville to make them truely authentic.

I found this shirt on Etsy today and I think it conveys what true friendship is all about. The shirt reads:
“Moi, je veux te dire que je ne te quitterai jamais. Et puis, si tu es triste, je pourrais toujours te donner un peu d’alcool pour te rechauffer le couer.”
Basically this means that “I’ll be there for you always. And I’ll get you drunk when you’re sad.”
Spezify is a search tool presenting results from a large number of websites in different visual ways. They take web search further, away from endless lists of blue text links and towards a more intuitive experience. It is a great showcase of how Flash can be used dynamically to visualize real time information in a compelling way.
I was drooling over the London Design Festival this morning and I ran across this quote that I really like. My goal is to someday attend the design fest, but for now I just have to admire from a far.
Robert and Cortney Novogratz of Sixx Design buy old buildings and turn them into amazing living spaces. They have made a career out of renovating and designing unique and hip homes for families for over ten years now.It is completely inspiring, they do things like install a glass garage door next to their dining area so it opens up into their yard. And they do all of this with six kids! Check it out here.
